Simple Money Spells

• Carrying the buds or leaves of poplar is said to attract money. Actually, as trees are related to the Air element, leaves from many trees might help and the taller the tree the better. Aspen is a type of poplar sacred to Mercury, god of Airy matters, communication, commerce, etc., so this could be a good choice.

• Plant an acorn in the dark of the moon. As the tree grows, so will your bank balance. (Don't despair if it doesn't take root. Just try again.)

• Climb an almond tree for business success (careful, now!).

• Plant a gorse bush, for the gold flowers will attract like. This could work for many gold flowers, except that we are learning that proper money is Air and all you may get that's gold are a few coins.

• Carrying conkers is said to attract money.

• The 'money corner' is another area important in Feng Shui. As you enter your front door, your money corner is the area of your house or flat that lies furthest in front of you, to your left. If money is a problem, it is a good idea to attend to this area. Some people like to place there a round-leafed plant, and there is a specific plant you can buy, a type of succulent called a 'money plant'. These are now sold at inflated prices due to the popularity of Feng Shui! However, you do not need this specific plant. If you have no problems, leave this area alone. If you do, tidy it up, as a first move. Then you may like to experiment with small changes.
